Anchors Away!

Katherine Murray Photography: “Inspiration Shoots have always been a favorite of mine. It allows for collaboration with fellow vendors who we may not work with as often as we like, or to incorporate some news ones we’d like to work with more. Being able to create a shoot just for ourselves, is a great way to keep our creative minds entertained and challenged as well as show all the Brides and Grooms out there a new take on wedding design. This shoot was inspired by the ocean in Summer. Blue and Coral dominated the color scheme as you can see in the decor, cake and flowers. We love outdoor weddings, but in Northwest Indiana, the weather is very unpredictable. We wanted to showcase how to incorporate the outdoor earthy style that many of us have in a beautiful modern indoor venue with a lot of romance, class and character.”

Unveiled Weddings & Events: “I am so in love with this shoot! Kate suggested a classy beach theme for our inspiration and what happened was pure magic. I really love playing with color! The turquoise linens remind me of fresh ocean air and the gold sequin table runners remind me of miles of sandy beaches. The elegance of this collaboration is reminiscent of a sophisticated yacht club soirée. Each participant brought their own talents to the table and really turned it up a notch! The end result is radiant!”

LeRoc Salon & Body Bar – Jes: “I took “classic” bridal styling and turned it on its side…This style lies somewhere in the middle between edgy and classic. I veered away from curls for both models and instead went with deconstructed topsy-tails for both ensuring that their end results would be different but their hair would coincide with one another.”

LeRoc Salon & Body Bar – Chesley: “I wanted the makeup to be soft but at the same time make a statement. I used a lot of warm tones and soft neutrals to make it more of a natural dewey look.”
