Spring is finally in the air and we couldn’t be any happier about it! Spring time weddings are always one of our favorite seasons to plan and coordinate. There truly is no particular color palette to choose from during this time of year but creating a light and airy palette feels so refreshing.

Burns Special Events designed a beautiful tablescape for this shoot that incorporated sage green, lilac and blush colors. Adding in a little depth with rose gold tied everything together. One of our favorite things about this table is the different textures of the stemware. The crystal wine glasses to the frosted wine glasses and the simple champagne flutes paired so well together.

Faith’s makeup, created by Merle Norman, looked so classy and youthful. We loved the light and neutral eye with a pop of pink on her lips. Her hair and nails were done by Vanis Salon and Day Spa. Her low messy curled bun presented a very graceful and sophisticated look yet highlighted the back of her low cut gown. 

Keeping your jewelry simple is sometimes best! Your jewelry is to help highlight different areas of your body and accentuate the gown. Brad’s Designs and Jewelry perfectly paired a necklace, earrings and ring with the dress.

Our model, Faith Blair, looked absolutely stunning in a V-neck all white gown from Elegance Wedding and Evening Wear. The lace on the train looked so elegant and beautiful. This gown is such an updated classic look that can be passed down for generations!

One of the first things brides think about when planning their wedding is the location of where it is going to take place. It’s a big decision to make because it’s the first place where you will be announced as husband and wife! Avalon Manor Banquet Center is so stunning inside! You will feel like royalty the moment you enter into their facility. They have a beautiful gazebo and garden area where you can have your wedding ceremony with a pond and water fountain as the perfect backdrop. And, to help accommodate soon-to-be brides, they have a wedding coordinator on staff to help create stress free planning!

Dixon’s Florist and Wedding Center created a beautiful centerpiece for the table that really added an elegant flair. The bouquet that they made was exquisite and we were obsessing over how they integrated succulents! The flowers that they used were white hydrangeas, blush roses, ivory roses, white freesia, burgundy roses, silver dollar eucalyptus, Italian ruscus, plumosia and succulents.

With Avalon Manor having an on-site chef makes that decision even easier for the bride and groom. The variety of food choices and the beautifully presented plates looked so scrumptious. The first, French-cut Chicken with Tarragon Cream, Steamed Broccoli with Glazed Carrots and Red Peppers and Garlic Mashed Potatoes. Second, Medallions of Beef with Madeira Wine Sauce, Roasted Lemon Potatoes and Zucchini Wrapped Green Beans with Carrots Red Peppers. And last, Medallions of Beef with Madeira Wine Sauce and Grilled Chicken with Tarragon Cream, Green Beans Almondine and Roasted Red Potatoes with Olive Oil and Rosemary.

Now that you have your wedding venue, florist and rentals picked out, let’s talk about how you will arrive to your wedding. All Around Limo Services has several different types of vehicles to choose from including a party bus for you and your bridal party or a more intimate ride for you and your groom with a stretch limo. 

When Gold Star Café & Catering arrived at the shoot, instantly the room filled with the sweet smell of a bakery! Not only did the beautifully crafted cake and intricate designs on the cookies look amazing but they tasted even better! We absolutely loved the barely naked cake and don’t even get us started on those cookies! Talk about creativity.

Another great addition to add to your wedding reception is having a popcorn bar for your guests to enjoy. Chicagoland Popcorn always creates the cutest looking popcorn bars with various flavors of popcorn. The flavors she used for this shoot was Pizza & Italian Sausage, Jalapeno Spinach Dip, Cinnamon Fried Dough and classic flavors like Movie Butter and White Cheddar. To be honest, it was hard to decide which one was our favorite!
