Spohn Ballroom – High School sweethearts, Kaitlyn Stump and Chaz Bellman always dreamed of an outdoor May wedding, but in northern Indiana we all know the weather can be very finicky! Taking a gamble they planned a May 7th wedding and it paid off! With only a light shower in the morning the two were married under sunny skies and a beautiful 70 degree day. The bright sunshine highlighted the striking detail of the beading from Kaitlyn’s vintage style gown as well as the gleaming smile from Chaz as he watched her walk down the aisle. Keep in mind his mouth had been wired shut from a flag football accident a few weeks earlier and the wires were cut just days before the wedding.
After a beautiful outdoor ceremony the couple and their guests made their way to the elegant and charming Spohn Ballroom in downtown Goshen. The ballroom was decorated in stunning fashion with plum and silver, no detail left undone. After an exquisite meal catered by Elegance in Thyme guests enjoyed dancing the night away on the ballroom floor just as members of the community had done in 1909 when the ballroom was originally opened. Lots of love and laughter filled the room from family members and friends as Kaitlyn and Chaz moved into a new chapter of their lives together as one.
