Venue + Food 

Spring has a way of softening a space while bringing it fully to life. For the Spring 2026 stylized shoot at DoubleTree South Bend, the design focused on floral-driven moments, fresh color, and intentional movement. The palette blended soft pastels with brighter pops of color, creating a look that felt elevated, joyful, and unmistakably seasonal. 

Gown 

The gown and accessories from Belle Amour Bridal completed the look with clean lines and romantic simplicity. The floral design on this Poppy gown, a unique piece from their in-house collection, Poppy Fleur, aligned seamlessly with the overall design aesthetic. Brides will also be excited to learn that Belle Amour Bridal is opening a new store location in South Bend this spring, offering another inspiring destination for those in search of the perfect gown. 

Design, Decor & Floral 

Design, decor, and florals were curated by Burns Special Events and set the tone throughout the space. Lush spring blooms were styled with purpose, allowing color and texture to lead without overwhelming the design. Serpentine tables introduced natural flow and visual interest, offering a modern take on the reception layout. Clear acrylic chairs and luxurious curved sofa chairs kept the setting light, letting the florals and tabletop details remain the focal point. 

Photography 

Photographed by Shane Lawrence Photography, the imagery captures the movement and colors of the day with clarity. Each frame highlights the balance between softness and structure that defined the shoot.  

Cake 

Sweet Em’s Cake Shoppe provided a cake that echoed the shoot’s clean design and spring palette. This beautiful 3-tiered cake, with delicate hand-painted flowers, was simply beautiful and brought the whole look to a new level.  

Hair & Makeup 

Our model, Samantha Gargas, embodied a refined, romantic vision of spring with effortless grace. Her look felt both fresh and elevated, exactly the balance you want in an editorial bridal moment. Hair was done by Mane by Madison and styled in a delicate wavy updo that was simply beautiful. Allee Makeup focused on luminous skin and subtle definition for a timeless, editorial finish. These talented stylists consistently create cohesive, camera-ready beauty. Their approach ensures each model and bride not only look picture perfect, but feels confident and completely elevated in front of the lens.
