Venue

There is something so magical about a winter wedding! The crisp cold air…the smell of pine…the purity of white snow! It just feels like a new beginning is just around the corner, which makes it the perfect time of year to have your big day!

Country Strong is one of the prettiest barn venues in the area and a photographer’s dream to shoot! Stepping on the property and looking at the newly renovated barn, you instantly feel at home. The bridal suite for the bride and her bridesmaids to get ready is incredibly charming.

For this shoot, we wanted to capture the details inside the barn and the various landscapes on the property. With all the evergreen trees surrounding the property, it’s the perfect venue for a winter wedding.

Decor

AAYS Event Rentals did an amazing job at decorating this shoot and fully embracing the winter vibes. Even without snow, we instantly felt like we were walking into a winter wonderland.

The tablescapes that AAYS designed were gorgeous! We loved the white tablecloth and how the emerald green velvet napkins and floral popped! 

Gown

Our model, Ilona Warner, looked like a Hollywood dream in her all-white, off-the-shoulder gown provided by Simply Yours Bridal & Formal Wear! The button detail on the back was an instant win-over.

Floral

Snapdragon Designs outdid themselves with the floral for this Winter Stylized Shoot. We loved how straightforward yet bold their floral combinations are. The flowers they used were roses, lilies, ranunculus, stock, Santini mums, spray roses, snapdragons, evergreens, plumosa and bay leaves. In the centerpieces of the table, they included silver branches to incorporate that winter vibe.

Hair & Makeup

Salon J did Ilona’s hair and makeup. They stayed true to the Old Hollywood glamour look and created beautiful loose waves that pinned on the side with a stunning hair clip from Simply Yours Bridal. Ilona’s makeup looked fresh with a nude yet slightly smokey eye, perfect cheek blush tint and bold berry lip.

Details

The stationery was created by Banter & Charm. We loved the simple yet glamorous feel it gave to the tablescapes and décor.

Cake

Sweet-Em’s Cake Shoppe creates the most stunning wedding cakes we have ever seen. When you look closely, you can find gorgeous details incorporated into their cake designs. This three-tier cake looked too beautiful to eat! The emerald green and silver foil design along with the poinsettia designs radiated a picturesque winter wedding dream.

Photography

One of the best investments you can have in your wedding is hiring the right photographer! B Graves Photography is not only amazing and incredibly fun to be around, but her photography skills are one-of-a-kind! She understands placement, lighting and can get that genuine smile out of anyone!
