Evan & Jackie

Blushing Bride on 17: Evan Sharpley, former University of Notre Dame Quarterback, really took a gamble when he flew out to the Miss America Pageant in Las Vegas to surprise Miss Indiana 2011, Jackie Jerlecki, after just a few dates. It was true love from the start as just 18 months after that Miss America pageant, the quarterback and Miss Indiana were headed down the aisle. This wedding had so many personal touches and every guest felt as if they were a part of the family. Each detail was thoughtfully selected, and in many instances handcrafted, by the bride. From the five different flavors of wedding cake, to the handmade flower girl dress, to the writing on the bottom of the couple’s shoes, no detail was left without adding a special ‘something’. The couple’s welcoming and charming personalities were present from the ceremony to the farewell. This wedding was truly a work of loved ones, family, friends, and the couple working together to make it a wonderful day.
