Venue 

Step into a world of elegance and luxury at the Biddle Point Inn & Event Venue. Inspired by Ken and Sarah Norris’s favorite destination, Mackinac Island, this storybook inn offers a charming retreat. With numerous rooms, a well-equipped kitchen, and inviting common areas, it provides ideal accommodations for you and your guests. 

The property boasts several picturesque locations for your ceremony and reception. We were particularly enchanted by the gazebo area and the courtyard for an outdoor setting. For an indoor option, the FortyOneNorth Nosh and Wine is perfect, additionally featuring upstairs spaces for the bridal party to prepare. 

Gown 

Our model, Ella Loucks, looked stunning in a boho inspired gown with spaghetti straps  and plunging neckline provided by Simply Yours Bridal. The details on this gown were breathtaking and elegant. 

Designer & Floral 

One of the standout features inside Nosh and Wine is the pastel chevron wall. Burns Special Events aimed to highlight this in the stylized shoot, crafting a pastel color palette that beautifully complemented the wall. The result was a delightful infusion of feminine energy, accentuated by the cascading floral centerpiece on the tablescape. Burns Special Events expertly weaves together every element of decor and style, ensuring your wedding day is seamlessly elegant and cohesive. 

Not only does Burns Special Events help design and set up your wedding, but they also have a florist in house! For this stylized shoot, they used floral ranging from pink and yellow spray stock, tulips, shimmer rose, alstroemeria, pink mondial rose, blush spray roses, waxflower, gerbera daisies, pink oriental lily, craspedia, veronica and white garden rose. 

Photographer  

Hiring a top-notch photographer is a must for capturing the best moments during your big day. Scott Tibbles Photography is the master of lighting! His photos instantly take your breath away. Each photo he takes is a work of art that can be celebrated for years to come. 

Hair & Makeup 

Julia the Hair Therapy Specialist did a stunning half updo with loose curls and face framing hair pieces. This showed off the front of the gown and highlighted the plunging back of the gown. Bethza Professional Makeup Artist Studio went with a natural glam look with slightly blush eyes and lip. This natural look paired perfectly with the gown. 

Cake 

This three-tier off-white cake, adorned with intricate floral designs and crafted by Sweet-Em’s Cake Shoppe, was a true statement piece. Sweet-Em’s Cake Shoppe always uses meticulous detail when creating a wedding cake, which is so brilliantly shown in each flower on the cake.
