Every year we always enter into the winter months dreading the cold and snow. But, what we do love about the winter season is a stunning winter wedding! Photographers capture the prettiest and most scenic wedding photos during this season.
Don’t feel limited to the venues where you can have your wedding in the winter. Finding that perfect location that you and your loved ones can come together and enjoy a new celebration of two people’s lives joining is all that really matters.
For a picturesque view, the Lighthouse Restaurant & Private Dining is located on Cedar Lake (which, by the way, is such a charming town!). The restaurant is surrounded by windows so the guests are able to enjoy the scenery of the woods and the water. The main level is the restaurant with a bar and the second level is for private dining which includes weddings, showers and birthdays.
With a very nautical vibe at the Lighthouse Restaurant, our designer, Unveiled Weddings and Events, followed along with the color scheme to tie everything together. The champagne sweetheart table really popped against the blue carpet and walls and was situated right in front of the bay windows in the private dining room.
The guest’s tables were elegantly put together with navy blue table linens, gold linen napkins, and beautiful floral arrangements handmade by Unveiled Weddings & Events. They used hydrangeas, lisianthus, roses, and anemone to create these stunning floral centerpieces.
When Naomi Paperworks arrived with the stationery our jaws dropped! Talk about stunningly gorgeous stationery that included wedding invites, RSVPs, Save the Dates, menus, table numbers and much more!
Lighthouse Restaurant & Private Dining made a scrumptious meal of a 6 oz. Filet Mignon and Lobster Tail served with Garlic Mashed Potatoes and Grilled Asparagus.
Our photographers, Matt and Jaymi from Matt & Jaymi Photography, really outdid themselves. The photos that were taken at the Lighthouse Restaurant & Private Dining were so gorgeous, creative, bright and airy that any bride would want to showcase for many years to come. They are such a great combo and having two photographers at your wedding will ensure that every large and small detail will be captured.
The jewelry provided by Brad’s Designs and Jewelry was so beautiful and eye-catching! The rose gold played off so well with the gown. The simple yet graceful necklace and earrings accentuated the sweetheart neckline of the dress.
Designer Desserts never disappoints on their cake creations! The details are always outstanding and so precise that the floral designs look real! For the cake they made for this stylized shoot, the floral design looked almost like it had a sea shell texture to it. We loved the classic look they captured with this all-white cake with pops of navy in the ribbon and flowers.
Our models, Jared and Aliyah, looked absolutely gorgeous in their tux and gown. Aliyah’s stunning full-length gown was breathtaking! With the satin buttons down the back and lace detail on the train of the gown from Something Blue Bridal Boutique, this dress will wow each and every one of your guests!
Jared’s tux from Louie’s Tux Shop was a classic black and white tux. We loved how they paired it with a black bowtie creating such an elegant flair.
Aliyah’s hair and makeup was done by Color Room Salon & Day Spa. Her half-up hairdo looked so lovely with the loose curls cascading down her back. Aliyah’s smokey eyes made them sparkle and the bold dark pink lips popped!
