Winter weddings are one of the most beautiful seasonal weddings that Indiana weather has to offer. The bold and bright colors, the light and fluffy snow and even *gasp* the cold weather seems to bring everyone together for such an exciting event!
Four Corners Winery is a hidden gem! Taking a “barn” wedding to a whole new level. This cone shaped barn is so rustic and antique but perfect for a New Year’s Eve themed wedding!
The best way to set the tone of your wedding is from the start. The stationery you choose will let your guests get a glimpse of what is yet to come. EJD Design created picturesque winter themed invitations which matched perfectly with our winter New Year’s Eve themed photo shoot.
Unveiled Weddings and Events created the most perfect New Year’s Eve wedding! Tons of silver glitter, balloons, sparklers and even party poppers to end the night! What a great way to send off the newly married couple. The pop of light blush color really brightened up the tablescapes and décor. The floral for this shoot, created by Lake Effect Florals, was above and beyond our imaginations. Who would have thought to pair a tall candlestick base with a large floral bouquet on top as a centerpiece for your guests’ tables? One word….Genius! Flowers that were used for this shoot were Keira and purity garden roses, white majolica spray roses, hydrangeas, stock, silver Italian ruscus, ranunculus, and freesia.
Our bride’s, Stacy, makeup done by Jay Marie Salon and Spa was elegant with an added element of drama with the soft pink lids, but with a smokey corner. Her hair was done by Jay Marie Salon and Spa as well. The side swept braid updo was a modern twist to a classic look.
The beautiful full length gown with a small train in the back provided by Here Comes The Dress embodied that princess feel. The small intricate details on the dress was stunningly made! The lace, the beads and the design at the bottom of the gown is so beautiful. The jewelry provided by Martin Binder was simple and elegant to not take away from the gown and her hair.
Finding a good photographer that not only takes amazing photos but that you also click with is so important! Matt & Jaymi from Matt & Jaymi Photography are a powerhouse wedding photography duo! Knowing your venue is super important. If there are areas that you would like to highlight by lighting, Spinnin’ Productions has you covered! We really wanted to showcase the balloons (Party Lane Balloons) behind the head table but with the low lighting, we needed something to accentuate it. The colored lighting behind the table was the perfect solution! AND…Let’s not forget about the snow machine that Eric Jaeger of MB Events had for us. No snow on your big day? That’s ok, MB Events has you covered!
The beautifully decorated cake created by Designer Desserts is an absolute statement piece! The light pink added a pop of color to the white and silver flowers and stars making the cake look so elegant and whimsical. And who can resist those miniature cupcakes?
We absolutely loved the all black tux and silver tie on our groom, Steve, from Louie’s Tux Shop. A very classy look to go for, especially on New Year’s Eve!
