Cloud Nine Invitation Design: The weather man smiled on Mackenzie and Nick’s wedding day, and they were married on the green of Elcona Country Club in perfect June weather. The groom’s father even built the pergola used in the ceremony! They implemented a timeless black and white palette throughout every element. Everything about this wedding was so simply and elegantly done, from the beautiful bride in her lace dress, to the bridesmaids dressed in floor length black dresses, the classic black suits worn by the men, the ceremony and reception floral in tones of cream, and the 1956 Studebaker Sky Hawk (black, of course!) the couple drove away from the reception. Cloud Nine carried the black and white look through to Mackenzie and Nick’s stationery, adding in enough small details to keep the look on the more modernized side of traditional. We mixed cream and black papers throughout the suite to create the coordinated pocketed invitation set, ceremony programs, dinner menus, favor tags, table numbers, escort cards, and poster-style seating chart.
