Describe Your Wedding Vision
Our wedding vision was romantic, rustic, and fun—a true reflection of who we are as a couple. We wanted the day to feel laid-back, stress-free, and completely us, where guests could relax and celebrate alongside us.
We envisioned greenery, white florals, and twinkling lights, enhancing the natural beauty of the reception barn and the rich history of our 150-year-old church. More than anything, we wanted our wedding to feel like one big family gathering, celebrating our 10-year journey together with love, laughter, and great food.

Describe Your Wedding Day
Our wedding day was nothing short of a fairytale—pure magic from start to finish. The morning began with the girls getting ready, music filling the air as we laughed, shared stories, shed happy tears, and transformed into our wedding-day best. Meanwhile, the guys, dressed to the nines, took a stroll to the party store for some celebratory beverages, hung out, and made sure their bow ties were perfectly in place.
Before the big moment, we stood back-to-back, exchanging heartfelt vows without catching a glimpse of each other, calming our nerves while savoring the anticipation. Just before I walked down the aisle, one of my bridesmaids led a beautiful prayer, asking for love, faith, and strength in our marriage.
The Church was filled with friends and family, as Shannon’s longtime choir director performed the music and her high school priest officiated the service. The ceremony was everything we had hoped for—deeply personal, heartfelt, and full of love, laughter, and joyful tears.
Our reception was a true reflection of our playful, fun-loving spirit. From an ice cream cart for dessert to a 360 photo booth, glow glasses, bracelets, and candy favors, every detail was designed to bring joy to our guests. The dance floor stayed packed as we celebrated into the night, surrounded by the love of those who mean the most to us. Every moment was flawless, every detail unforgettable—it was a day straight out of our dreams.

Advice to Engaged Couples
Our biggest piece of advice for engaged couples? Enjoy the planning! It’s so easy to get caught up in the tiny details and stress over every little thing, but at the end of the day, everyone is there for YOU—to celebrate your love and share in your joy.
On the morning of your wedding, let go of the worry. Whatever happens is meant to happen exactly that way. Take comfort in knowing that your family and friends are there because they love and support you, not because they care about a perfectly placed centerpiece or a slight hiccup in the schedule. No one will remember if there was a last-minute mix-up or if Uncle Bob didn’t make it—your people have your back, and your team will handle the rest.
Planning this day can be an incredibly rewarding experience if you let it be. Communicate with each other, dream together, and find ways to make your wedding feel uniquely you—that’s what makes it truly unforgettable. Most importantly, remember: This is YOUR day. Embrace it, enjoy it, and soak in every beautiful moment.
