Venue & Food

Springtime has finally arrived, and we are so grateful! Spring weddings are among our favorites as they symbolize fresh beginnings.

When searching for a venue for your wedding day, it’s a great idea to find one that can accommodate your ceremony, reception, and even provide an on-site bridal suite! The Blue Teal offers all of this and more, including the option to host your rehearsal dinner there. Their outdoor garden terrace is magical and serves as a perfect spot for your ceremony.

The Blue Teal presented the most scrumptious-looking plates of food! For this wedding, they served Port-a-Pit® Chicken, Beef Pot Roast with onions and Parisian Carrots, Mashed Red Skin Potatoes, Asiago Medley, and dinner rolls. Additionally, they offered their Nelson’s House Salad, featuring mixed greens, tomatoes, diced egg, shredded carrots, croutons, and cheese. Simply delicious!

Design

Upon seeing the plates from AAYS Event Rentals, we were immediately drawn to their delicate floral design. We aimed to embrace this aesthetic and create a tablescape that exuded refinement and elegance. The gold-rimmed chargers, gold flatware, and light blue wine glasses complemented the dishes perfectly. The addition of the gorgeous lace linen atop the light blue tablecloth enhanced the overall beauty of the setting. We could admire this tablescape design for days!

Floral

Snapdragon Designs crafted a centerpiece for the table that complemented each color beautifully. The arrangement of garden roses, delphiniums, tulips, spray roses, and agapanthus resembled an English garden right in the middle of the table. The gold chandelier candleholder added a warm aura to the venue, completing the ambiance perfectly.

Gown

Our model, Skyler Leach, looked absolutely stunning in a spaghetti-strapped, sweetheart neckline gown provided by Simply Yours Bridal. The gown’s intricate detail, featuring small floral ivy that glistened in the sunlight, was truly eye-catching.

Hair & Makeup

We adored the half up-do with loose curls that Wild Rose Hair Artistry created for Skyler’s hair. It beautifully accentuated the gown and showcased her jewelry. Ashley Urban Artistry did a fantastic job on Skyler’s smokey eye, adding a dramatic effect while keeping it simple and classy with a nude lip.

Photography

Working with B Graves Photography is always a joy! Her keen eye for detail, color, lighting, and style is consistently impeccable. Moreover, she has a knack for making you feel at ease in front of the camera. Her photos are ones you’ll treasure for years to come!

Cake

Sweet-Em’s Cake Shoppe crafted the most stunning two-tier cake with intricate floral details. Each petal and leaf was meticulously handmade. Fresh florals adorned the top of the cake, tying in with the floral theme of the wedding. The cupcakes were equally beautiful; although they looked almost too good to eat, one bite of Sweet-Em’s cake and you won’t want to stop!
