Describe Your Wedding
Our wedding day was practically perfect. Everyone followed suit accordingly with zero bumps along the way. I remember feeling so excited right before walking down the aisle. As my father walked me down, I started to cry because I could not believe this was the day and Sam and I had made it this far. The one downer to our wedding was the mosquitos, but for having a “forest” theme, it fit quite well.
Describe Your Wedding Vision
We wanted our wedding to give everyone present a relaxed feel, yet still let them know they were at an event with some elegance. Sam and I thought deeply on what colors would give off that sort of atmosphere. We both knew that we loved the outdoors and we could make a “forest” themed wedding attain that classy feel, leading us to pick navy blues, hunter greens, burgundy, and flecks of gold and pearl for accents. What came to mind was the deep woods that you can remember when you were camping as a kid or what one might picture in fairy tales.
Advice to Engaged Couples
Having different likes, dislikes, personalities, tastes in food, hobbies are all exciting and encouraged. One thing should be the same, however, and it is your belief system. I personally believe that having that similar religion, denomination, faith, or no religion at all is what keeps couples grounded when times become tough, and they will get tough. Make sure you have the same foundation.
