There is something about spring time that always makes us feel anew. Coming out of the cold, snowy winter months and getting that glimpse of warmer weather, sunshine, trees and flowers blooming, and hearing the birds chirp creates that new fresh start feeling inside of us. I believe that is why we love spring time weddings so much because it’s a new start or a new chapter is one’s life.
Lex 530 in Elkhart just recently opened in October of last year for soon-to-be brides. This place is absolutely gorgeous from their modern décor to their beautiful chandeliers hanging from the ceilings.
Burns Special Events created a beautiful tablescape and sweetheart table. The rose gold plates and coral napkins really popped against the detailed white linen. And the blue velvet tablecloth they added at the sweetheart table was stunning!
Lex 530 provided an exquisite salad for this shoot. The dish consisted of organic purple, yellow, orange and red carrots as well as organic broccoli, brussel sprouts, red peppers, onion and banana fingerling potatoes. These were all tossed in olive oil, sprinkled with pink Himalayan sea salt, freshly ground pepper and smoked paprika. They were then roasted to perfection and served on a bed of organic baby spinach.
The wines at Lex 530 are one of a kind and some are made by Carl Tiedemann himself! The Glenwood Cellars 2014 Sonoma Coast Chardonnay is a pale golden in hue. The nose offers up rich lemon custard, toasted brioche, apricot and crème brulée, with a subtle vanilla bean and marzipan completing the ensemble.
Finding a photographer that you just “click” with (no pun intended) isn’t always the easiest. But Jessica from JB Photography is every bride and grooms best friend! She will make you feel so comfortable in front of the camera and get you to give a genuine smile. But most importantly she captures the prettiest pictures of all the small details at your wedding. Looking back at your wedding photos from years to come will recreate that special day.
Our model, Kennedy, looked absolutely stunning in a plunging sweetheart neckline gown that is perfect for all body types! Elegant Designs knows how to pair the perfect dress with the perfect bride! And we must add, the gown has pockets!
Kennedy’s hair was created by Salon J. The side-swept fishtail braid looked so elegant on her and really showcased the gown and jewelry. Bethza Professional Makeup Artist Studio kept her makeup light and airy but added a dramatic flair with the eyes. The coral lip was the perfect color to tie in with the floral and décor.
Let’s all take a moment and ohh and ahh over the floral for this stylized shoot. Matzke Florist went above and beyond. The corals, bright pinks, and greenery that they used for their centerpieces were beautiful! The flowers they used were Miss Piggy coral roses, Nemo spray roses, burgundy astrantia, anemones, ranunculus, peonies, pink lisianthus, white stock, white hydrangea, coral gerbera daisies, brazillia foliage, Italian ruscus, salal and silver dollar eucalyptus.
When Sweet-Em’s Cake Shoppe brought in the cake, it took everything out of us not to want to eat it! The smell was amazing but what was even more amazing was how beautifully designed it was. Attention to detail is something that Sweet Em’s excels in. I mean, look at that bottom tier of the cake! Yes…it’s a marble design!
