On location Rock Run Creek Barn
The moment we set eyes on Rock Run Creek Barn, we instantly fell in love! A picturesque view, acres upon acres of land, and a slow-flowing stream with a covered bridge make this one-of-a-kind barn an absolute stunner.
The barn was originally built in the 1850’s and still resembles its antique charm, yet completely updated to fit any wedding! Rock Run Creek Barn has two levels; the bottom floor holds the bridal suite and a lounge area and the second level for your wedding reception.
Rock Run Creek Barn also offers tables and chairs, outside deck, horse drawn carriage, bonfires, guest house, honeymoon suite, vintage décor and more!
For this stylized shoot, we wanted to embrace the natural wood of the barn and bring a sense of lightness. Burns Special Events created a beautiful tablescape focusing on simple, clean, and crisp colors yet added in the bold and gorgeous Amber color. The rustic farm table and chairs matched perfectly with the drapery hanging from the rafters. The low hanging crystal chandeliers added a touch of elegance.
Matzke Florist creates the most beautiful floral arrangements for your tables and bouquets! They used a combination of soul and quicksand roses, dusty miller, bleached italian ruscus, white spray roses and billy balls for their stunning floral pieces.
Choosing the cover photo from this shoot was incredibly hard! B Graves Photography captured each photo creatively and perfectly for this shoot, just as she does for each wedding day she is a part of. The bride and groom felt so comfortable in front of the camera and it truly shows in the photos. Love was in the exquisite outdoor air.
Our bride, Whiley Weston, wore a stunning spaghetti strapped plunging neckline gown provided by Simply Yours Bridal and Formal Wear. The crochet detail from the bodice of the gown to the bottom of the train was so elegant and graceful.
Whiley’s hair was done by Salon J. The half updo with loose waves looked effortless with an intricate twist in the back! Bethza Professional Makeup Artist Studio did a smokey eye and nude lip which matched perfectly with the vibe of the gown and hair!
The groom, Landon Stratford, looked dashing in an all-black and white tux from Louie’s Tux Shop. We love a classic tuxedo! The small little touches with a tux really stand out like the black handkerchief on Landon!
Everyone loves cakes, cupcakes, and cookies but what about pies?! Das Dutchman Essenhaus makes the most delicious pies and we were thrilled to add them to this sweet dessert table. Coconut cream, blueberry, Dutch Apple Crisp and peach pies are a few that you and your guests will crave.
