Venue
If any bride could have her dream wedding, this summer stylized shoot completely embodied that vision!
Not only are you surrounded by different shades of pink, the venue, The Spohn Ballroom, has a royal ballroom vibe. The Spohn Ballroom has been completely restored to enhance its natural appeal and elegance. Wood flooring, 20-foot ceilings, decorative ceiling corbels that are absolutely stunning and with modern chandeliers. This ballroom overlooks downtown Goshen and holds up to 275 guests.
Designer
Burns Special Events created the most magical and charming tablescape and lounge for the bride and groom and their guests. We loved the pergola draped with fresh floral, greenery, and glass chandeliers behind the sweetheart table. The gold, white and orange colors that they incorporated throughout the décor really popped and added to that summertime flair.
Gown
Our model, Allee Gushwa, was styled beautifully in an off-the-shoulder, sweetheart neckline gown with a slight train. The details on this dress are mesmerizing. The beading shined in the light, and the slit in the front of the gown added a bit of sass. You can find this gown and so many other beautiful ones at Simply Yours Bridal and Formal Wear!
Floral
The floral that Burns used were Hot Pink Ranunculus, Tulips, Cremons, Hot Pink Stock, Pink Snapdragon, Viper Wine Carnations, Lady Margaret Rose, De Ruiter’s Lovely Jewel Rose, Pink Spray Roses, Sarah Bernhardt Peony, Variegated Pittosporum, Sword Fern, Lemon Leaf and Smilax.
Hair&Makeup
Tiara Balentine, owner of Tiaras And Veils Hair Artistry, created an elegant and whimsical half updo on Allee. We loved the loose curls and face-framing hair pieces in the front.
Allee’s makeup was done by none other than herself! Allee is the owner and artist of Allee Gushwa Professional Makeup Artist. She can transform a stressed bride into a fresh, relaxed, and blushing bride!
Photography
Lindsey Marie Photography was such a joy to work with. Her work is light, airy, precise, and artistic. With what started as once a hobby, Lindsey has fine-tuned her skill to become one of those photographers that you will need to hire for your wedding. She makes you feel comfortable in front of the camera, has fun with the bride and groom, and captures the most stunning photos. Her work really speaks for itself.
Food
The Spohn Ballroom is more than just a venue! They have an onsite event coordinator and an executive chef. For this stylized shoot they made a Herb Crusted Beef Tenderloin, Sautéed Shrimp, Pit-tatoes, Glazed Baby Carrots and a Caprese Salad.
Cake
Sweet-Em’s Cake Shoppe always goes above and beyond with their desserts. Their cake designs are so stunning. We loved their light pink, three-tier cake with darker pink and gold floral designs. Adding in some fresh floral from Burns on top really complemented the look altogether.
