Venue
Lake Michigan is the perfect staycation destination for a summertime wedding. Overlooking the water and seeing the Chicago Skyline in the distance is incredibly magical. Lakeside Pavilion Event Center is the picture-perfect location to have your wedding ceremony and reception!
Established in 1930, the completely renovated and restored historical building offers beautifully timeless décor, rooftop and balcony seating, and the most majestic views.
Designer
Unveiled Wedding and Events is more than just your wedding coordinator! They will help walk you through each step and take the stress of wedding planning from you. They can help you with anything from planning linens, floral, décor and table setting designs.
For this stylized shoot, we loved how they embraced the wood décor inside the Pavilion with their rustic wood table and also added in some boho touches and lovely tiered pillar candles on the white table runner. This classic tablescape made the coral and pinks in the floral centerpieces pop. Spare Room Studios helped assist with providing rentals.
Gown
Our model, Rachel Baranowski, looked absolutely stunning in a sweetheart neckline, spaghetti strapped gown that had a fully beaded bodice and skirt provided by Elegance Wedding and Evening Wear.
Floral
Dixon’s Florist created exquisite floral arrangements and bouquet that brightened up the décor. They used coral peonies, garden roses, white anemone, and yellow ranunculus with a soft mix of bells of Ireland designed to make a statement.
Hair & Makeup
Her makeup is done by Merle Norman Cosmetics. We loved the dramatic smokey eye and the way her rosey lip matched perfectly with her hair color, really enhancing her beautiful features.
The intricate details in Rachel’s hair, done by Top-Knot Bridal, was exquisite. The loose curls to the pearl beads throughout the back of her hair looked exceptionally classy.
Photography
Breannaleigh Photography created the most romantic ambiance in her photos. Her creativity and attention to detail really stand out.
Stationery
Stationery really helps set the mood for your wedding design. It’s the first glimpse into your wedding day that you will send your guests. Your Little Details designed sophisticated and elegant stationery that included menus, table numbers, and name cards.
Food
The Pavilion prepared two delicious dishes. The first dish was an eight-ounce prime sirloin steak topped with compound butter, mushrooms, onions and peppers, served with pecorino rosemary potatoes. The second dish was a seared salmon filet with pernod creamed spinach, pecorino-rosemary potatoes and green beans.
Dessert
Designer Desserts designed a beautiful emerald green three tiered cake with cascading floral provided by Dixon’s Florist. The slight gold shimmer on the cake reflected perfectly with the lighting.
