Describe Your Wedding Vision
With our original wedding dream to be married on a mountain side, identical to how we got engaged, we pivoted and did our best to transform the church and reception hall into a whimsical yet timeless floral meadow. We worked hard to transform our northwest Indiana venue into a floral-fairy-dreamland, while keeping a classy vibe, so that we are able to look back at our wedding photos at 50 years and not cringe inside. However, our reception goal was to have a music and food driven party where everyone could relax, dance, and sing the night away. Snack and food options for all to love!
Describe Your Wedding Day
Starting bright and early, our wedding day was a whirlwind, and was over far too soon. The reception hall was transformed by the OCD-hyperactive bride who decorated to her heart’s content with the help of her beautiful wedding party and family. They got to work as soon as the doors opened. Then on the gorgeous sunny June day, she walked down the aisle in a pair of bejeweled (and very painful) heels, escorted by her younger brother, to meet her handsome groom, who had spent the morning sleeping in and relaxing. After a traditional ceremony officiated by her father in her childhood church, the newlyweds and their lively bridal party hopped on a wild party bus for photos. A surprise spring shower interrupted the session, sprinkling the bride and groom with good luck and sending everyone laughing and dashing back to the bus. The evening wrapped up at the reception, where they danced the night away, fueled by love, happiness, cupcakes, and a midnight pizza snack. It was the perfect day—one I wish I could relive every day for the rest of my life.
