On Location Morris Park Country Club
One of the most classic and timeless wedding themes you can create for your big day is a black tie event! No matter what your wedding colors are, you can create this vision easily at Morris Park Country Club.
Morris Park Country Club’s newly renovated banquet rooms are top notch! With almost $7 million in renovations, they include a stunning deck that stretches the entire length of the banquet rooms overlooking the golf course and pool. This venue is the perfect spot for soon-to-be brides with their own Bridal Suite and locker rooms for the groomsmen! Their venue can hold up to 300 people and they also have an on-site Event Planner to help perfect your once-in-a-lifetime day!
The design for this shoot was created by Poppies and Morris Park Country Club’s Event Planner. They wanted to create a Black Tie & Pink Champagne inspired shoot with a touch of Old Hollywood glamour. Their vision was beautifully executed to inspire!
Burns Special Events provided the pink champagne tower, linens, tableware, chairs and hedges for this shoot. If you can imagine your dream wedding décor, they can make your dreams come to life!
Poppies brought this summer black tie event to life with her exquisite floral styling and overall design. The tablescape looked stunning, with the main centerpiece being a true show stopper. Poppies used a variety of roses, ranunculus, orchids, and eucalyptus to get the look they wanted. A peep of summer was so elegantly displayed with the tropical leaves in the captivating floral hanging garland above the tablescape and throughout.
Morris Park Country Club’s chef made a scrumptious meal that included a Grilled Shrimp Martini with a house-made cocktail sauce and fresh horseradish for an appetizer. For the entre, they prepared a Blackened Faroe Island Salmon with a Pineapple and Citrus Salsa, Quinoa, Wild Rice Blend and Haricot Verts. They also made a Grilled Snack River Farms Filet Mignon topped with a Parmesan-Garlic Butter, White Cheddar Whipped Potatoes and Grilled Asparagus with Lemon Zest.
The bride, Peyton Gongwer, looked ravishing in an all-white gown from Simply Yours Bridal and Formal Wear. The dress had a gorgeous train with button details leading from the back of the dress all the way to the tail end of the train! This wedding dress embodied old Hollywood glam at its finest.
The groom, Bronson Yoder, looked rather dapper in his classic black and white tux provided by Louie’s Tux Shop! We loved the black and grey bowtie choice instead of a black tie for this shoot. The bride and groom were a sight for sore eyes.
Peyton’s top knot bun was inspired by Aubrey Hepburn. Marissa Lehman from L&M Hair Design updated this iconic look with loose face framing pieces with a slight curl. We love Marissa’s eye as she always knows how to style each person’s hair perfectly for their particular event.
We loved how stunning Peyton’s makeup looked created by Allee Do My Makeup! Her smokey eyes and rose colored lips looked sophisticated and classy. And ladies, you can’t go wrong with fake eyelashes for your wedding day! They are a girl’s best friend for big events.
Sweet-Em’s Cake Shoppe crafted this four-tier all black wedding cake. With its intricate silver design on the formal black cake, this was one of the most elegant cakes we have ever seen.
Working with Cat Alkire Photography is like hanging out with one of your best girlfriends! She makes you feel so comfortable in front of the camera and knows how to help the bride and groom pose in the best lighting. Her light and airy photography vibe creates clean and vibrant photos!
