On May 19, 2018, an estimated 1.9 billion people watched one of the most elegant weddings of the year! The royal wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle gave every soon-to-be bride a wedding wish list that became a mile long.
We were so inspired by the royal wedding that we decided to recreate it for this stylized shoot. Sandy Pines is one of the most beautiful outdoor venues we have seen! Their outdoor pavilion is perfect for an outdoor wedding, yet provides coverage for you, your groom and your guests. The Bridal House located a few steps away from the pavilion is fit for any soon-to-be bride and their bridesmaids.
Trysh Jaeger, owner of How Sweet It is, is a woman who wears many hats! Not only did she decorate this Royal Wedding themed shoot but was also our photographer! How Sweet It Is added small intricate details that gave a “princess” vibe and really popped in the photos.
The beautifully decorated cake provided by Gold Star Café & Catering looked too exquisite to eat! The gold painted tiers matched perfectly with the antique gold teapot. Giving your guests the selection of other desserts is always a fan favorite, especially those melt in your mouth cookies!
Since we were not able to see the reception of the Royal Wedding, we can safely assume based off of the ceremony is that they were heavy on their floral arrangements. Dixon’s Florist and Wedding Center was the perfect fit and exceeded our expectations!
Our model, Francesca Jobbe, looked stunning in a full length satin gown provided by Elegance Wedding & Evening Wear. The back of her gown is an absolute show stopper! Francesca’s makeup was done by Tami Poortenga from Merle Norman Cosmetics. The light and whimsical makeup matched perfectly with her updo bridal hair created by Color Room Salon & Day Spa! The jewelry from Highland Jewelers was the perfect elegant touch that highlighted the models gown. Our groom, Brian Volk, looked absolutely dapper in his tux from Threads Apparel.
Make your wedding feel magical with this Royal Wedding inspiration!
