Oh where to begin…I love nearly everything about this wedding. From the venues to the decor to this amazing couple. Alex is from California and Margaret from New York.  They met at the University of Notre Dame where they fell in love and dated long-distance for a time prior to their wedding. I only met this lovely couple once before their wedding to photograph their engagement session in Chicago, but immediately knew I’d love working with them. Alex is super silly and fun to be around and Margaret is a bit more reserved and very sweet.

To say I was excited to photograph this wedding is an understatement. This was my first time at the Basilica, but considering my first job was in the architecture field I knew I’d love every minute of it. Hidden Vineyard Wedding Barn is also a favorite venue of mine, so to have the two in one wedding was a dream come true. Alex and Margaret are both are very kind hearted and genuine which was expressed by everyone that attended their wedding. It was truly an event where two families became one with an immense amount of joy and love from all. I feel very fortunate to have had the opportunity to capture such a wonderful day.
