From the Vendor’s Perspective: Katie Whitcomb Photographers
It is so important to me to get to know my brides on a personal level. There should be a feeling of walking into my best friend’s wedding and ready to experience her day with her. Kelanie’s wedding was no different. I received a call from her early in the morning the day of her wedding because it was raining and we had planned for a fabulous day. Luckily, there was no rain and she still had a fabulous day. All I had to tell her was that I had a backup plan. I was so excited about my backup that I was kind of sad that it didn’t rain. But, we still made it work, mud patches and all.
Most of my weddings are primarily held at the Basilica of the Sacred Heart at Notre Dame so having a wedding at Amish Acres was a great change of pace. I loved the rustic feel of the venue but felt like Kelanie added the perfect dose of elegance to her centerpieces and overall design.
