Maddy and Joe were a pleasure to work with! I first met with Maddy’s Mom in Demotte because she was away at school. They had a venue booked but that was pre-COVID. Maddy and I met up a few weeks before the wedding to go over details and everything was still in place at her venue. I received a call about 10 days prior to the wedding and Maddy said they were moving the wedding to her grandparents farm in Demotte because the venue was requiring masks. I said I was down for whatever! Let’s have this party! It was a beautiful sunny warm day and boy did we celebrate Maddy and Joe Smoker that day. 

They got married in a church in Wanatah and then headed to her grandparents farm in Demotte. We did introductions and then had an amazing buffet dinner from Nelson’s BBQ from Wakarusa, Indiana. After that were the first dance and special dances, and then we got the party started. 

Mark Amelse did an amazing job with the photography. Wandering Mule brought their beverage trailer to serve drinks. Maddy’s dress was from Here Comes the Dress in Chesterton and she looked stunning. Spinnin’ Productions kept the party going and provided uplighting to make the barn pop! The night ended when Grandpa came out at 12:15 and said shut it down! Congrats to Maddy and Joe Smoker!
