From the Vendor’s Perspective: Shane and Abby Photography

October is one of our favorite times of the year for a wedding with the gloriously rich Fall colors that start to develop and the mild weather. Sarah and Josh had chosen an early October wedding with Aberdeen Manor as their beautiful venue. The day started off with the bride and her bridesmaids together at a local hotel getting their beautiful makeup done by Anjelica from a Modern Face.

With Sarah in her stunning dress from Maggie Sottero, it was on to the beautiful chapel at Aberdeen Manor where the gardens gave us a wonderful backdrop for portraits of Sarah before she walked down the aisle for a short intimate ceremony. The reception room at Aberdeen Manor always looks magnificent! Their new drapery and uplighting made the whole reception perfect for photographing.

The reception was lively and full of energy from the entrances right through the night with a dance floor full of celebrating guests, thanks to Mike from Trans Audio. It was a wonderful treat to sneak out with Sarah and Joshua for night photos in front of the lit chapel. In our opinion, it has to be one of the most picturesque chapels in Northwest Indiana.
