Snapdragon Designs: Shelby and Michael’s wedding was one of the most unique and beautiful weddings I’ve had the pleasure of doing! The theme was elegance crossed with fun and funky! Shelby wanted a bright mix of flowers and colors, a summer garden feel. She decided to juxtapose the flowers against elements of glass, silver, jewels, and crystal. The flowers we chose were zinnias, asters, solidago, roses, celosia, butterfly weed, and dahlias. The centerpieces were an eclectic mix of vases and candleholders her mother had collected: some were jeweled, some were silver or mercury glass, some had rhinestones. Everything came together beautifully and the effect was both fun and fancy – which matched Shelby’s personality perfectly! She was a beautiful bride and a joy to work with!
