Describe your wedding vision
Above all else we wanted our wedding to be beautiful and peaceful. We are both the youngest in our families and we knew that these pictures will be some of the last of all of us together and dressed up. Providing an event that can pull together the excitement, sanctity, and joy of our marriage was our ultimate priority. To have a day with no regrets. We wanted an intimate setting to allow our families to feel comfortable and at ease as we go into our respective new seasons. We wanted our memories of the day to be reminiscent of the love with our guests, rather than the bills that were to come. Peace, love, and sincerity.
Describe your wedding day
Many times we have looked back on our wedding and said that it was perfect. From the weather, ceremony, attendees, reception, photography, dresses and suits, everything was without flaw and utter perfection. The sun shone through the branches of the grove and lit shining pillars of light around the congregation, and everyone had on their best smile. Our families bonded together and there was nothing but compliments about the food and refreshments. Even now as we share photos of our wedding, people are in awe of how perfect the day was, people were glowing, leaves were green, and the love was evident in every pixel. Looking back on the photos puts us right back in those shoes and right back into those laughs. Our wedding day is a lasting memory of joy and love that we can revisit in every album.
Your advice to engaged couples
The day of your wedding is something that will go by so much faster than you think. It is so important that you get great physical memories from that day that you can use to bring you back. Having a photographer that you trust and one that is professional is something you will be thankful for after the wedding. Get a photographer that will communicate with you and will be there for your wants while also giving their professional advice. In my memory, I do not remember seeing our photographer a single time during our wedding, but afterwards he managed to capture every memorable moment from the whole ceremony. Something can be so helpful for pictures is getting together a list of pictures that you want so there is a game plan for picture time. Also helpful would be a Pinterest of poses for bride and groom as to help the photographer get an idea of your vision. It makes this process so much easier and removes so much stress. It allows you to decide on the pictures you want before the stress of the wedding day comes. My husband and I so often are thankful for getting a professional so that we can continue to relive our wedding every day.
