Our wedding vision was rooted in creating a moment of true presence—an intentional pause where we and our loved ones could fully be together. We wanted it to feel less like a traditional event and more like stepping into a shared experience, almost like a vacation, where everyone could slow down, exhale, and feel genuinely appreciated. Every detail was guided by that idea: that the people in the room weren’t just guests, but a meaningful part of our story. 

We hoped each person felt celebrated in the same way we felt supported by them throughout our lives—like they could see how deeply they’ve shaped who we are today. 

Aesthetically, we were drawn to a romantic, European villa atmosphere—something warm, intimate, and transportive, but without requiring anyone to travel far. We leaned into soft textures, natural elements, and an all-in-one setting that encouraged connection and ease. Ultimately, we wanted the day to feel effortless and immersive—like time slowed down just enough for everyone to be fully present, together. 

Describe Your Wedding Day 

Our wedding day didn’t feel like a single moment—it felt like something that unfolded naturally over time. The celebrations began the night before with a welcome reception for all of our guests, which became such an important and grounding part of the weekend. It gave our families and friends the opportunity to meet, connect, and ease into everything together, and you could feel the energy shift as everyone settled in. By the time the wedding day arrived, there was already a sense of closeness and shared anticipation that made the entire experience feel more meaningful. 

Your Advice to Engaged Couples 

Our biggest advice is to make your wedding a true reflection of who you are and what you value as a couple. When the day feels authentic to you, everything else naturally falls into place—you stop worrying about the small details and start focusing on what actually matters. Guests can feel that authenticity, and it shapes the entire atmosphere in a way that’s far more meaningful than anything perfectly styled. Just as importantly, take a moment to look around and really take it in. It’s rare to have all of your favorite people in one room, celebrating you and your story. We were reminded of that in a profound way after our wedding—we lost someone incredibly close to us only a few months later, and it deepened our gratitude for having shared that moment together. It’s something we’ll always hold onto. Life moves quickly, and the day will too, so try to stay as present as possible. Laugh often, don’t take yourselves too seriously, and let things unfold as they will. The most memorable moments are usually the ones you can’t plan—and they’re often the ones that matter most.
