When we first set foot into Aloft South Bend, we knew instantly that we had to do a Stylized Shoot there. The modern yet classic décor is perfect for any bride. One great reason to have your wedding at a hotel is that those who are traveling will have a place to stay, and the rooms are absolutely beautiful inside. Aloft’s staff is prepared to help you plan your wedding day just the way you want it.
Polly from Poppies came up with the vision for this shoot. She wanted to embody the saying “something old and something new” with Aloft. The light pinks, blues and purples with touches of copper looked so elegant against the modern décor. The floral included quicksand roses, ivory spray roses, lavender sweet peas, delphinium, purple larkspur, white tulips, pampas grass, Italian ruscus, salal and fatsia leaves. These floral choices melded together to create beautiful masterpieces in both the ceremony location and on the tablescape.
AAYS Event Rentals provided the linens, tables, chairs, the beautiful flatware and plates, stemware and some of the stunning décor for this shoot. They worked alongside the venue and florist to bring this whole look together.
Aloft’s on-site chef created deliciously grilled pork chops with a pan jus on a bed of wild rice and roasted tri-colored carrots as well as a filet with a red wine reduction sauce on top of a bed of wild rice and grilled asparagus.
Our model, Kayzie Priebe Weedman, looked absolutely stunning in the all lace gown provided by Simply Yours Bridal. The back of the dress looked very elegant with the beaded details. Kayzie’s hair was created by Marissa Lehman from L&M Hair Design. We loved the side swept loose curls that created an old Hollywood look. Her makeup, done by Ashley Troxel Professional Makeup Artist, looked so lovely. The warmer colors matched Kayzie’s skin tone perfectly creating that natural glow!
You know that moment when you meet someone and you are like “Yes, this is my type of human…” Well that is exactly what you will feel like when you meet Grace Pulver from Grace Pulver Photography. She is so fun to work with and you never have to worry if you will have that “fake smile” in your photos. Grace makes you feel so comfortable in front of the camera.
One of the first things that guests love to see when they get to the reception is the cake! Before the bride and groom arrive, the cake becomes the focal point. Black Currant Bakehouse did an outstanding job with this feature cake! Talk about creative, the middle tier is a light up centerpiece accentuating the marbled design of the bottom and top tiers.
Take your wedding to the next step and book with a videographer so you can relive your big day over and over again! Limitless Videography captured all of the gorgeous details of this shoot and made our bride feel like a celebrity.
