Describe Your Engagement

Ryan and I got engaged on June 30, 2020, on the beach in Union Pier, Michigan during a family vacation. After a walk on the beach, Ryan got down on one knee, and shortly after I walked up the steps to find both of our families and friends there to celebrate. We have been together since August 2016.

Describe Your Wedding Vision

Our vision was a beautiful fall wedding with warm colors of wine and a mix of pastel colors to complement each other. Polly from Poppies brought my vision to life with her flowers and tied it together with our amazing wedding cake designed by my parents. The ballroom was a fairytale and everything I envisioned and more.

Our wedding day was truly a fairytale. Every detail came together so perfectly. It was a warm sunny day in October surrounded by our family and friends.

Advice to Engaged Couples

Enjoy the planning process and have fun with it! Trust the expertise of your vendors – they are in this business for a reason. Recognize that this day is about the people around you that love you and want the best for you. Take in every moment of the day and show your appreciation to those that made it all possible.
