Polly from Poppies came up with an angelic themed stylized shoot at The Century Center in South Bend! This shoot design was breathtaking, inspirational and unique – the perfect way to end 2020, with a touch of hope. We loved the way Poppies mixed different elements and colors. The details played together so stunningly.
Poppies specializes in floral design and that is clearly seen throughout the shoot. The flowers used for the centerpieces and bouquet were red roses, red dahlias, white dahlias, Christmas dahlias, white standards, white lisianthus, red berries, winter pine, dusty miller, Italian ruscus, silver dollar eucalyptus, white ranunculus and seeded eucalyptus.

Can we take a moment and admire the angel wings that Poppies created for the model! They were made of pampas grass, palmetto leaves and dried wheat giving it an earthy vibe.

The hair and makeup, created by Bethza Professional Makeup Artist & Studio and Marissa Lehman from L&M Hair Design, completed the winter angel themed look. Bethza did an amazing job on Kelli’s makeup giving her a neutral smokey eye and a pop of color on the lips. The loose curls and side swept hair gave an effortless yet delicate appearance.
Our model, Kelli, looked stunning in this modern, curved V-neckline silhouette gown that falls into a ball gown skirt of tiered tulle provided by Simply Yours Bridal & Formal Wear. We loved how feminine and delicate this gown looked giving it an angelic appearance!
Sweet-Em’s Cake Shoppe created this beautiful five-tier, all white cake with intricate details in the design. We loved how Poppies paired it with pale yellow floral pieces. Can a cake really be too beautiful to eat? You can be the judge on that!
