On Location Whispering Oaks Event Venue

The moment you drive up to Whispering Oaks, you instantly fall in love with the rustic charm. Acres and acres of farmland surrounding the barn and home creates such a beautiful backdrop. The wooden barn features stunning hanging chandeliers, indoor bathrooms and a backyard patio. The barn holds up to 150 people. The home is open to the bridal party to prepare for the bride and groom’s big day including a bridal suite overlooking the land.

For this stylized photo shoot, SheDesigns along with Spare Room Studios, Painted Willow Designs, and Crown Party Rental, created a rural yet royal looking wedding. The bold colors, gold details, and rustic vibe with sunflowers was the perfect touch to Whispering Oaks!

Eden Floral Events created the most beautiful floral arrangements and bouquet. We loved the pops of color and how she incorporated sunflowers into her arrangements. A few of the flowers that were used are Pampas Grass, Black Magic Roses, Purple Stock, Lavender Larkspur, Sweet Autumn Vine, Italian Ruskus, Israeli Ruskus, Lemon Leaf, and Purple Dahlias.

Ever thought of having a mobile bar at your event? Wandering Wilde Co. has a 1975 horse trailer that they converted into a mobile bar! They call it “Sunny.” This completely renovated vintage trailer is equipped with a custom bar, two tap systems, wine cooler, mini fridge and cooling system. This is a great addition to your wedding and can also be incorporated with bridal showers and even your bachelorette party! 

One of the many things that stood out in this shoot was the Charcuterie Canoe! How unique! The charcuterie foods and design was done by Cheesescapes. They offer fruits, veggies, nuts, bread, honey and so much more. If you have an idea on how to display your charcuterie board, she will make it happen.

Stephanie Swanson Jewelry Designs provided a stunning 18 karat white gold set with natural sapphires and diamonds. The wedding band was a six carat diamond eternity band. Each piece was intricately designed and will simply take your breath away!

Our model, Alexis Koontz, looked ravishing in her plunging sweetheart neckline with lace and beaded design on the bodice. The satin skirt and full train with lace details at the end was stunning. You can find this beautiful gown and many others at Something Blue Bridal.

We loved how Under the Veil did a side braid into a low bun. The curls looked so elegant and timeless. Merle Norman did a stunning job on Alexis’s makeup! Her bold berry colored lip and smokey eyes added a dramatic flair!

You can never go wrong when ordering a cake from Designer Desserts! Each and every cake they make is an artistic design and the moment you taste it, you will be wanting a second piece. They created a two-tier ivory cake with edible flowers to match!
