Memories…The first time seeing your soon-to-be husband. The first date you two went on and the butterflies in your stomach that cannot be contained. The moment you both realized that you love one another. The proposal, and now here you are planning one of the greatest days of your lives! It all begins with those memories.
The history and the culture that the campus of the University of Notre Dame embodies is exactly that…memories! Having your wedding at Notre Dame has recently became easier for brides-to-be! VenueND is your one stop shop and takes the stress out of wedding planning.
Location
For this summer inspired stylized shoot, we focused on two newly renovated spaces located inside the Notre Dame Stadium; The South Club at O’Neill Hall and Seven on 9 at Corbett Family Hall.
The Bride
Our bride, Taylor Szabo, was absolutely stunning in a delicate lace sweetheart neckline gown from Elegant Designs. Her bouquet created by Merry Me Events included Garden Roses, Anemone, Peonies, Boronia, Ranunculus, Lysimachia, Umbrella Fern, Sea-Star Fern and coordinating tassel of assorted ribbons in satin, silk and sheer. The bride’s hair and makeup was done by Beauty & Bliss. The side swept updo with loose curls along with the subtle orange and pink makeup perfectly tied in with the floral and décor.
Decor
Merry Me Events designed and decorated with vibrant shades of pink, orange and yellow. The flowers that were used for the centerpieces included Hydrangeas, Kermit Chrysanthemums, Catalina Garden Roses, Barbados Petite Roses, Anemone, Dianthus, Craspedia, Yarrow, Matsumoto Asters and Ranunculus. Talk about a beautiful array of flowers that screams summer time!
Photography & Cake
OMG Photography did an amazing job capturing all the small details that The South Club at O’Neill Hall and Seven on 9 at Corbett Family Hall had, along with the tropical inspired four tiered cake designed by Sweet Em’s Cake Shoppe! The lighting provided by ProShow helped highlight all the small details!
A Groom’s Party
AAYS Event Rentals provided the stunning china and flatware that combined perfectly with the copper mugs and cigars, to make for an ideal groom’s bridal party. And, of course, you can’t fully enjoy your big day without some finger foods for everyone to appreciate! Our groom, Zach Wagler, looked dapper in his navy suit from Louie’s Tux Shop.
Whiskey Bar
One of the more unique aspects to this photo shoot was the whiskey bar provided by City Wide Liquors that was created by Merry Me Events located at the Seven on 9 at Corbett Family Hall overlooking the football field.
